In the last 15 meetings between Frankfurt and Bochum, the away side has emerged victorious on just one occasion.
"I'm happy with the reaction"
bundesliga.de presents the views of the men in charge.
Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 VfL Bochum
Michael Skibbe (Eintracht Frankfurt): "I'm happy with the reaction of the players following the embarrassing cup defeat against Bayern. We wanted to put them under pressure from the start and we managed to do so in the first half. The own-goal took the win out of our sails for a bit, but we created plenty of chances."
Heiko Herrlich (VfL Bochum): "Of course we're disappointed, but there are plenty of positives too. The team gave their all today but ultimately we're going to be judged on the amount of points we get. We need to work hard, then the results should follow.
Schalke 04 2-2 Bayer Leverkusen
Felix Magath (Schalke 04): "Leverkusen are the best team we've played against so far. I wasn't so sure we'd be able to come back from 2-0 down, but the lads turned the game fantastically. Still, they played the better football."
Rudi Völler (Sporting Director Bayer Leverkusen): "We played well in the first half but we didn't make the most of our counter attacks and didn't combine as well. You have to expect that Schalke will come at you full throttle, but the defeat hurts."
Hamburger SV 2-3 Borussia Mönchengladbach
Bruno Labbadia (Trainer Hamburger SV): "Unfortunately we didn't really get into the match. We knew that Gladbach can play good football and hit you on the counter, but we still should have gone in front when it was 1-1. We're very disappointed, but we have to get on with it."
Michael Frontzeck (Borussia Mönchengladbach): "Credit to the lads for the way they fought. Despite going behind twice we never lost our composure and it was a deserved victory in the end. I'm very happy that we've managed to halt our winless streak."
1. FC Nürnberg 2-2 Werder Bremen
Michael Oenning (1. FC Nürnberg): "It's always disappointing to throw away the win just before the end like that, so it's difficult for us to be satisfied with a point today. If we keep playing like that, though, I'm sure the points will come our way."
Thomas Schaaf (Werder Bremen): "We saved ourselves at the death, but we had a rotten first half. We were lucky to be just 2-0 down, but in the second half we improved a lot and showed how well we can play. I think we can be happy with the point."
VfL Wolfsburg 3-3 1. FSV Mainz 05
Armin Veh (VfL Wolfsburg): "After going 2-0 up early on we lacked the necessary aggression. I wasn't too pleased by the fact that we conceded a third goal despite having a man over."
Thomas Tuchel (FSV Mainz 05): "I never thought we'd come away from this match empty handed, even when we went behind so early on. In the second half we were markedly better and deserved to get a point. I'm very proud of my team's performance."
VfB Stuttgart 0-0 FC Bayern München
Markus Babbel (VfB Stuttgart): "Obviously I'm not completely satisfied and we can hardly say that this was a turning point, but credit to the lads for the way they fought against one of the best teams in Europe."
Louis van Gaal (Bayern München): "I can live with that result. We didn't create too many chances but we didn't give much away either. We lost possession too easily, that's about all there was to it."
1. FC Köln 0-1 Hannover 96
Zvonimir Soldo (1. FC Köln): "That was our worst game of the season so far, particularly in the first half. You can't win games playing like that - there was no passion and no fight. I'm not surprised our supporters are angry."
Andreas Bergmann (Hannover 96): "I'm very pleased with the team for a great performance, especially in the first half. We showed the will to win and played some good football. We didn't give them a sniff and had further chances at the other end. It was a highly-deserved victory."
Borussia Dortmund 2-0 Hertha BSC
Jürgen Klopp (Dortmund): "We found it difficult towards the start but then we really put in a quality display. We carved out the opener and went on to notch a deserved victory. We were the better side."
Friedhelm Funkel (Berlin): "We played well defensively and made it hard for our opponents but we didn't have the quality going forward. We didn't create enough chances and we didn't have the ability to penetrate their defence. We need to work, work and work some more."
