Bad news for Hamburger SV concerning Alex Silva.
The Brazilian defender ruptured a ligament in his left ankle in Sunday's game at 1. FC Köln.
A magnetic resonance imaging session confirmed the diagnosis on Monday evening. HSV team doctor Oliver Dierk said, "It's doubtful at this point whether Alex Silva will make it for the game against Eintracht Frankfurt."
